Child and Family Therapy

It is best practice in clinical work with children to consistently involve at least one parent. This means that when I am working with your child, I am also working with their caregiver.

I utilize a skills based approach that involves play, art, and social interaction. Your child will develop skills through a multi-systemic approach that is strength-based with techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Parent Consultation

Parent only appointments are integral to the therapeutic process and can be held exclusively or in addition to individual child therapy.

SPACE work

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions is a research based program that teaches parents how to decrease unhelpful accommodations they are using to minimize their child’s anxiety.

Behavioral Modification

Most effective for children struggling with emotional dysregulation, we will work together to create a behavior plan and interventions that fit into your family’s dynamic

Resource Support

You may be struggling to identify what resources your child child needs and how to access these resources.

  • When is it time to request school support services?

  • How do I collaborate with the school support team?

  • When is it time to seek out a neurospsychological evaluation?

  • When should I consult with psychiatry or my physician?
